Dalum Papirfabrik was founded in 1874 alongside the River Odense on the outskirts of the city. In 1999, the business was bought by 4 Danish investors who changed the name to Dalum Papir A/S. Paper production takes place in Dalum not far from Odense, whilst the de-inking of recovered paper takes place in Maglemølle, near Næstved.
Dalum Papir A/S has 300 employees, of which 250 are in Odense and 50 in Næstved.
