1975  Dalum Papirfabrik acquires automatic production equipment for the preparation of office paper. The equipment manufactures and packages printing and writing paper in standard A4 format. PLUS A4 replaces the Music series. 1979 De Danske Sukkerfabrikker buys 78% of DfP’s share capital. 1983 De Danske Sukkerfabrikker buys the remaining shares in DfP. 1984 DfP’s Board draws up an action plan, "the 22 May Plan", aimed at turning FORENEDE PAPIR into a profitable business. The plan is based on centralisation, higher quality, the development of IT, a modified purchasing policy (fewer but larger suppliers) and staff cuts. 1987 "EB ‘87 plan" comes into action: Investment to a tune of DKK 200 million is ploughed into advanced machinery and optimising machine positions. Stora Kopparbergs Bergslags AB (STORA) buys 25% of DfP’s share capital. Plans are drawn up for the production of recycled paper. Investments of DKK 240 million facilitate the production of 30,000 tonnes of recycled paper a year, and a 100 new jobs are created at Maglemølle Papirfabrik. |
