Production is converted from traditional paper grades to processing and more specialised production. DfP sets up own marketing department headed by an advertising manager. A period of aggressive and targeted marketing of products begins. As one of the many new initiatives, DfP initiates sales cooperations with paper distributors and launches the magazine "PLUS", directed at the whole of the Danish printing industry.
New Maglemølle commissions paper machine number thirteen for the production of thin paper and crepe paper in particular. TAPIR toilet paper is one of the many brands produced by the new machine.
1964
Paper machine number six in Dalum is rebuilt.
1965
The chalking unit at Dalum Papirfabrik is replaced with a new blade coater for coating printed paper. Paper machine number three at Dalum is rebuilt, thereby increasing capacity.
A4 office paper is developed. The first series, "the Music series", is launched under names such as Tuba, Bassoon, Trumpet, Kettle Drum, Tambourine and suchlike.
