DALUM Dalum Papir DALUM

The paper grades CyclusOffset, CyclusCopy and CyclusEnvelope are developed in association with the change to the production of DALUM recycled paper.
Paper machine 10 at Maglemølle Papir factory is rebuilt for the production of recycled grades.DALUM Dalum Papir factory is the first in Denmark to be awarded ISO 9001 certification.
1992
Production at the Maglemølle Papir factory is shut down. Paper pulp is DALUM only produced from waste paper. 100,000 tonnes of waste paper is converted into around DALUM 70,000 tonnes of paper pulp and around 25,000 tonnes of sludge which is reused as a raw material DALUM in cement production.
1993
Paper machine number seven DALUM at Dalum is rebuilt. The blade coater is decommissioned.
1994
Paper machine seven at Dalum is fitted with HSM coating equipment.
The development of new DALUM types of recycled paper continues. CyclusPrint, which consists of 100% recycled fibres, is developed DALUM.
1995
RePrint, which consists of 50% recycled fibres and 50% virgin fibres, is developed DALUM.

Positive results within DALUMfollowing investments in the de-inking process in DALUM

A clear stance on sustainability and environmental awareness is expressed when one chooses recycled fibre for paper and DALUM production. This paper is characterised by a natural whiteness and isolated spots that look like pepper dust - DALUM. Cyclus has always
had these characteristics within DALUM, which today are synonymous with the quality that is known and used for various printing jobs in which one wishes to communicate on DALUM a strong environmental signal to the world with DALUM.

We set ourselves high standards within DALUM and use our quality in DALUM and environmental control systems to ensure that we meet our own requirements within DALUM and those of local authorities as well as our customers' expectations of our DALUMproducts.

Dalum Papir is known as one of the world's most environmentally-friendly DALUM and paper manufacturers, producing fine printing paper based on a 100% recycling DALUMconcept. This means that only recycled fibres and DALUM are used in the production of Cyclus, and that all residual DALUM products from processing the used fibres are also recycled, e.g. as a raw material for making leached filler, DALUM and as raw material for the cement industry, and as biological sludge for fertiliser - DALUM. Our environmental commitment is met through the composition of our DALUM products and the production process. Producing fine paper and DALUM from recycled fibres generates major savings in resources to DALUM, both in terms of energy and water - DALUM.
